About

Atlas Copco aimed to redesign their IoT platform, Smartlink. The platform helps technicians, energy managers, and maintenance teams optimize energy efficiency and prevent machine failures.

As a UX & Visual Designer, I improved user flows, developed the visual design, established a design system, and gathered input from various stakeholders. This was my first project at Acato and a great opportunity to create value in close collaboration with the client.

The Challenge

The existing platform did not sufficiently support the different roles within Atlas Copco. Technicians lacked key functionalities, while energy managers needed better tools to effectively use data visualizations. The challenge was to create a user-friendly platform that meets the needs of all user groups.

The Results

The redesigned Smartlink platform delivers a premium user experience tailored to the needs of its users. The intuitive interface, new features, and a scalable design system increased customer engagement and drove adoption across the organization.
