UX, UI & Service design
JAAR
2022-2023

The website was created to better tell the story of De Buurtboer and present their services in a more engaging way. In parallel, the MijnBuurtboer environment was developed, a customer portal where clients can easily manage their lunch orders.
Although these were separate projects, both played a crucial role in the repositioning of De Buurtboer.

The Website
As a UX and Visual Designer, I was responsible for designing a user-friendly and visually engaging website that fully reflected De Buurtboer’s new brand identity. The main goal was to better communicate the company’s story and present their services in a more compelling way.
During this phase, we conducted interviews with office managers to understand what matters most to them when choosing a lunch provider. Insights from these interviews formed the foundation for the UX and visual design.
We then developed prototypes and tested them with potential customers to ensure the website clearly communicated the value of De Buurtboer and aligned with the needs of the target audience.
De MijnBuurtboer Portal
For the development of the MijnBuurtboer environment, I was involved in both product and service design. This customer portal allows companies that order lunches from De Buurtboer to easily manage their orders. Together with the client, we organized a design sprint to define the service and identify the required platform functionalities. During this sprint, we mapped the core features and established a clear vision for the platform. After the sprint, we conducted interviews with customers and developed prototypes, which we tested to validate usability and ensure the platform met the needs of its users.
